Your Choice Caregivers provides companion carepersonal careskilled and unskiled nursing care, Sitter/Nanny Services, Behavior/Intellectual Care and Alzheimer’s & dementia care services. Our affordable home care services are customized to allow your family member or adult to live at home in familiar surroundings while relieving you of stress and worry.

Services can begin as soon as 48 hours after contacting Your Choice Caregivers. All services begin with a free at-home assessment, meeting with the patient and family, to develop a Personal Care Plan customized to your needs and budget. The Personal Care Plan is followed by your caregiver and supervised by a registered nurse to be sure all needs are met.

We’ll discuss your needs and schedule to have our RN Director of Clinical Services come to your home to conduct a free, no obligation assessment with your loved one. We’ll answer all your questions such as types of services available and care costs. Then, we’ll create your Personal Care Plan and match your loved one with the perfect caregiver.

Senior care is considered custodial care. Please check with your insurance carrier for coverage of home care services. We’re happy to work with you and help coordinate the entire benefits process such as providing documentation needed for reimbursement by an insurance carrier. Types of payment accepted by Your Choice Caregivers are:

  • Private Pay (including credit cards)
  • Third-Party Care Insurance
  • Long-Term Care Insurance
  • VA Home Health Care Benefits
  • Georgia Medicaid
  • Georgia Medicaid Waiver Programs: CCSP, Source, ICWP and GAPP

Yes. Many times, assisted living facilities do not have sufficient staff to care for and enable all residents to remain living independently. In cases like these, Your Choice Caregivers provides supplemental care to fill-in gaps of service. 

Yes. Our goal is to establish a trusted, long-term relationship with one caregiver for your family. If for any reason your loved one requests another caregiver, we’ll search our large inventory of personnel to find the perfect match.

There may be times when it may be necessary to schedule more than one caregiver if your loved one receives care for many hours in a day or many days in the week. In any event, the goal is the same: to have happy patients and families. We’ll work with you to make sure the same goal is achieved every time.

Yes. Each caregiver is bonded and insured with general liability and worker’s compensation insurance should there be an accident in your home.

Yes. All caregivers are licensed and registered in the State of Georgia. Depending on your loved ones needs, we provide Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Yes. All caregivers undergo a stringent screening process that includes a criminal background check, employment experience verification and references, drug testing, certification & State of Georgia licensing verification and CPR/first-aid certification.

No. There is no “medical authorization” or “certificate-of-need” required by a physician or medical authority. Simply choose the type of service needed and how often you need it.

No. You are invoiced by Your Choice Caregivers after completion of services on a weekly basis. You do not pay the caregiver directly.

Factors that determine the cost of home care services are:

  • Current medical condition of your loved one
  • Level of assistance required to complete daily-living tasks such meal prep, bathing, running errands, etc.

A free, professional assessment by our RN Director of Clinical Services provides an accurate account of services followed by a cost estimate. Home care services are available on an hourly, daily, weekly or live-in basis and can be increased or decreased based on your budget.

Schedule changes are easily accomplished with as little as one week notice. Our philosophy is to make the schedule work for the family, not the agency. You come first. Your needs, your requests, your schedule. We will do everything possible to make sure the schedule you want is the schedule you get.
